Liz has worked in human services for 25 years and she has consulted to government departments and non-government organisations for 18 years. She is a strong advocate of outcomes-focused service delivery and participatory research; and encourages reflective practice and problem solving approaches. She has overseen the successful completion of 40 evaluations and has undertaken 150 consulting assignments. She has field experience with a range of stakeholders and specialist knowledge in working with people with disability and people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
Passionate about outcomes for service users, Liz has supported individuals, organisations and sectors undergoing change and has assisted decision-makers to plan and evaluate their programs and services. Her contributions to public policy and sectoral and organisational improvement strategies are demonstrated in recent assignments such as the Victorian Quality Framework for Disability Services pilot, the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development Quality Framework pilot; and the Victorian Department of Human Services Self Directed Approaches Leadership in Reorientation of Disability Services (LIRDS) initiatives.
Liz is a past Executive Director of ADEC – Action on Disability within Ethnic Communities. In this role she contributed to sectoral reforms as a member of several Federal and State Government ministerial task groups.
