Our Experience : Grampians Quality Support Network

Communication Strategy and Self-Learning Work Book on Quality Framework for Victorian Disability Services for the Grampians Quality Support Network 2008

 

Our team worked with 16 disability providers that formed the Grampians Quality Support Network to develop a communication strategy and self-learning workbook – the Assessing Quality Workbook - on the Quality Framework for Victorian disability services. The purpose of these initiatives was to communicate and build learning on the objectives and application of the Quality Framework within the organisations; and to inform service users and their families/carers.

 The Assessing Quality Workbook provides a four-component framework for collating data about how you assess and improve the quality of services to people with a disability and their family/carers. The four components are:

  • Planning Support
  • Delivering Support
  • Reviewing Support
  • Improving Support

The Workbook of over 300 pages provides extensive information and templates for documenting processes and outcomes.
